Pakistan and U.S. Deepen Ties in Comprehensive Bilateral Talks

Islamabad: Today, Acting Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass met with Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch for delegation-level talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on a broad spectrum of bilateral issues including trade, security, and more.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “The discussions aimed to enhance dialogue mechanisms and strengthen relations in economic and defense sectors. Foreign Secretary Baloch emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to forging a meaningful and expansive relationship with the United States.” Bass expressed the U.S.’s desire to support Pakistan in stabilizing its economy and acknowledged the country’s resilience in facing recent adversities such as floods and terrorist attacks.
