Pakistan and U.S. Discuss Human Rights Collaboration in High-Level Meeting

Islamabad: The Secretary of the Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) met with Ms. Monica Jacobsen, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) from the U.S. Department of State. The meeting focused on ongoing human rights initiatives and potential areas for collaboration between Pakistan and the United States.

According to Ministry of Human Rights, the discussion covered legislative advancements and institutional support for human rights in Pakistan. Ms. Jacobsen reaffirmed the U.S. State Department’s commitment to assisting Pakistan in promoting and protecting human rights. Both parties agreed on the importance of continued cooperation in achieving shared objectives.
