Pakistan and UAE Commit to Strengthening Rail Modernization and Regional Connectivity

Abu dhabi: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have reached an agreement to enhance their partnership in the areas of rail modernization and regional connectivity. This commitment was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, and UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei in Abu Dhabi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions during the meeting focused on exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation in upgrading Pakistan’s rail network. The objective is to boost trade, improve connectivity, and support sustainable economic growth. Both ministers emphasized the importance of environmentally responsible transport solutions and reaffirmed the strong brotherly ties between the two countries. They expressed a shared commitment to advancing mutual prosperity through these initiatives.
