Pakistan and US Forge Robust Ties Across Multiple Sectors: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan and the United States have cultivated a strong relationship anchored in cooperation across various fields such as security, counterterrorism, trade, investment, agriculture, science, education, health, energy, and people-to-people exchanges.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister made these remarks while addressing a ceremony commemorating the 250th Independence Anniversary of the United States. He emphasized that the foundation of Pakistan-US relations has grown over decades and now encompasses not only security cooperation but also trade, innovation, and human connectivity between the two nations.

Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the role of President Trump in fostering peace and stability in South Asia, noting that his efforts have helped ease regional tensions. Additionally, the Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s role as a mediator between the United States and Iran, expressing gratitude for the trust placed in Pakistan by both countries.

Earlier in the event, Charg© d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker spoke on President Trump’s personal engagement with Pakistani leadership, which underscores the genuine personal connections that exist at the highest levels between the two governments.
