Pakistan and Zimbabwe Military Leaders Pledge to Enhance Defense Cooperation

Rawalpindi: Zimbabwe Air Force Commander Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in Rawalpindi, where the two military leaders expressed a strong commitment to enhancing cooperation in the areas of security and defense.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, General Mirza highlighted Pakistan’s appreciation for its longstanding relationship with Zimbabwe, emphasizing the mutual desire to deepen the existing defense ties. Air Marshal Nzvede acknowledged the high professional standards of the Pakistan Armed Forces and praised their significant achievements and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

The visit was marked by a ceremonial ‘Guard of Honour’ presented by a tri-services contingent at the Joint Staff Headquarters, demonstrating the respect and camaraderie between the two nations’ military forces.
