Pakistan Army Undertakes Mosque Renovation Projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: Pakistan Army has given a sacred gift to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the form of construction and renovation of mosques.

According to Radio Pakistan, the construction of the Spin Mosque in the Wana area of South Waziristan was carried out in July 2021 with the support of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South). The mosque features a vast courtyard and hall capable of accommodating more than five thousand worshippers simultaneously.

The Imam of the mosque and the people of South Waziristan expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for this gesture. Furthermore, the restoration work of Masjid Sulaiman Khel and Masjid Arab in Bajaur district was completed by Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North). These mosques had been destroyed in terrorist incidents.

On the request of students, Jamia Masjid Farooq-e-Azam was constructed and renovated at the University of Malakand. Additionally, projects for the restoration of several mosques in Mir Ali, Sararogha, Ladha, and Makin areas of North and South Waziristan have also been completed.

The construction and renovation of mosques have promoted harmony and brotherhood among the people and the armed forces of Pakistan.
