Pakistan, Azerbaijan Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Khalaf Khalafov, the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khalaf Khalafov provided an update to the Deputy Prime Minister on the ongoing and forthcoming initiatives under Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

During the discussions, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Azerbaijan’s leadership role in CICA and its dedication to fostering regional cooperation and mutual understanding.

The meeting also served as a platform for both countries to explore further opportunities to strengthen their bilateral cooperation, underscoring the close relationship between the two nations.
