Pakistan, Azerbaijan Vow to Enhance Economic Collaboration

Islamabad: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have expressed the commitment to enhancing bilateral trade, investment, and long-term economic collaboration. This commitment was expressed at a high-level meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Azerbaijan Minister for Economy Mikayil Jabbarov in Islamabad on Tuesday. The meeting was aimed at accelerating ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was noted that both sides have been working diligently since the recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Azerbaijan, which catalyzed a renewed focus on critical investment projects. The meeting underscored the mutual ambition to fast-track priority projects that can serve as catalysts for broader economic initiatives, especially in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and IT.
