Pakistan, Bahrain Vow to Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Focus on Economic Cooperation

Manama: Pakistan and Bahrain have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations, with a special focus on economic cooperation particularly in fintech and banking sectors. The understanding to this effect was reached during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa in Manama.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar is accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his official visit to Bahrain. The two sides also discussed exploring central bank collaboration and establishing joint teams to develop a roadmap for enhanced economic partnership.
