Pakistan Becomes First in Region to Offer NCLEX Program for Nurses

Manama: Pakistan has emerged as the region’s first country to offer the National Council Licensure Examination program, equipping nurses with globally recognized licensing and training opportunities. In this connection, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui inaugurated the NCLEX program at the College of International Skills Development in Karachi.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized that the program would also provide visa guidance and IELTS preparation to nurses from underprivileged backgrounds. This initiative aims to enhance the skill set of nurses, enabling them to meet international standards and improving their prospects for global employment.
