Pakistan Calls for Use of AI, Digital Tools to Strengthen Global Food Security

Islamabad: Pakistan has called for responsible use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to strengthen global food security. The call has been made by Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, while virtually addressing a forum on ‘Harnessing Artificial Intelligence, Digitalization and Data Governance for Food Security and Nutrition’ held in Rome, Italy.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to international cooperation and emphasized that the country will continue to work closely with international partners. The goal is to harness the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and digitalization for inclusive agrifood systems.
