Pakistan, China Agree to Maintain Real-Time Engagement

Moscow: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Moscow today on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting. They reaffirmed the ‘all-weather’ Pakistan-China strategic partnership, reviewed bilateral and multilateral cooperation-especially within the SCO-and praised the Shanghai Spirit principles guiding regional collaboration. They also exchanged views on global issues and agreed to maintain real-time engagement moving forward.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting underscored the importance of the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, reinforcing their commitment to continued collaboration on both bilateral and multilateral fronts. The leaders emphasized the significance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in fostering regional cooperation and stability, aligning with the Shanghai Spirit principles. This mutual understanding is expected to enhance the cooperation between the two countries on global issues, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
