Pakistan, China Commit to Enhancing Bilateral Relations

Beijing: Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations. This commitment was expressed during a meeting between Pakistan’s Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and China’s Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong in Beijing.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal appreciated China’s unwavering support for Pakistan during its recent tensions with India. He also praised China’s leadership for its constructive role in promoting global peace. The Minister emphasized that the friendship between Pakistan and China continues to grow stronger every day. He highlighted China’s development model as a source of inspiration for Pakistan.

Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong reiterated China’s strong commitment to enhancing cooperation with Pakistan across various sectors. During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, focusing particularly on the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
