Pakistan Committed to Fiscal Discipline, Revenue Mobilization, Sustainable Growth: PM

Lahore: Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to fiscal discipline, revenue mobilization and sustainable growth. In a post on his X handle, he alluded to his meeting with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva in Davos, highlighting that they exchanged views on the global economic outlook and the importance of multilateral support for economic stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif said he shared with the IMF Managing Director Pakistan’s improving macroeconomic indicators, stabilization efforts, and progress on structural reforms, which she acknowledged and appreciated.
