Pakistan Condemns Unlawful Interception of Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli Forces

Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the unlawful interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli occupying forces in international waters, along with the arbitrary detention and reported mistreatment of humanitarian workers onboard.

According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi stated that the detained individuals reportedly include Pakistani humanitarian activist Saad Edhi. The spokesperson demanded the immediate release of all illegally detained activists and urged the international community to ensure their safety, dignity, and fundamental rights.

Tahir Andrabi emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is maintaining close contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions in the region to secure the safe return of any detained Pakistani nationals.
