Pakistan Deplores Houthi Attack on Madinah Power Station

Madinah:Pakistan has condemned the Houthi militia’s attack on the Taibah power distribution station in Madinah.

According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Office Spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan described the attack on civilian infrastructure that supplies electricity to the Holy Prophet’s Mosque as a grave provocation and a matter of deep concern for Muslims worldwide.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of respecting the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the safety of worshippers and pilgrims. He called for an immediate and unconditional cessation of such actions, which pose a threat to regional peace and security.

Sajjad Haider Khan reiterated Pakistan’s strong solidarity with Saudi Arabia, expressing full support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty and security. Pakistan affirms its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia in safeguarding the Two Holy Mosques, protecting its people, and ensuring the safety of pilgrims.

The spokesperson also highlighted Pakistan’s dedication to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
