Pakistan, EU Agree to Enhance Research Collaboration

Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have agreed to explore mechanisms for greater participation of Pakistani institutions in EU research initiatives. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, and Head of Cabinet to EU Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Andreas Schwarz.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on strengthening the Pakistan-EU knowledge partnership under the Horizon Europe framework. This collaboration aims to provide Pakistani institutions with increased access to EU research opportunities, fostering a more integrated approach to research and innovation between the two regions.
