Pakistan, EU to Strengthen Collaboration on Migration Governance

Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhance dialogue and collaboration on migration governance and strengthen people-to-people linkages. This consensus was reached during a meeting between the Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, and the Deputy Director General of the European Commission, Johannes Luchner, in Brussels.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions included ongoing engagement under the Pakistan-EU Migration and Mobility Dialogue. The meeting also addressed regional and global developments of mutual interest, focusing on prospects for enhanced cooperation on legal pathways, which include initiatives like the Talent Partnerships.
