Pakistan, EU Vow to Boost Cooperation on Skilled Workers

Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have underscored their commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts on matters of mutual interest, including managing migration flows and expanding opportunities for skilled workers. This commitment was expressed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and EU-Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner in Brussels today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides engaged in discussions aimed at optimizing the Dialogue framework to facilitate the legal migration of skilled labor from Pakistan to the European Union through the Talent Partnership window. They expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the recently held Pakistan-EU Migration Mobility Dialogue, acknowledging the growing cooperation in addressing challenges related to migration and labor mobility.
