Pakistan Expects Taliban Govt to Take Steps Against Terrorists: Dar

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that Pakistan anticipates the Taliban Government to implement decisive actions against terrorist factions and those attempting to disrupt Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar voiced his serious concern regarding the activities along the Pak-Afghan border through a social media post on X. He highlighted that the unprovoked firing and raids orchestrated by the Taliban Government along the border represent a significant provocation.

Dar emphasized that Pakistan’s responses are focused on Taliban infrastructure, aiming to neutralize the Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorist groups that are operating from Afghan territory. He clarified that these defensive measures are not directed at the peaceful Afghan civilian population. Unlike the Taliban Forces, Pakistan is taking great care in its defensive actions to prevent civilian casualties.

The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated that Pakistan is committed to taking all necessary steps to protect its territory, sovereignty, and citizens.
