Islamabad: Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has announced that the Pakistan Expressway is set to enhance regional trade and drastically cut travel time between Karachi and Quetta.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with the Governor of Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, in Islamabad, the minister assured that the National Highway Authority is implementing all necessary actions to ensure the timely completion of national highway projects throughout the province.
The Governor of Balochistan praised the federal government’s concentrated efforts towards upgrading the province’s key transport routes. He highlighted that these developments would bring substantial benefits to local communities.
The meeting concluded with extensive discussions on additional regional projects, including the construction of the Zhob Bypass.
