Pakistan Facilitates Repatriation of 30 Iranian Nationals

Karachi: Pakistan has announced its facilitation in the repatriation of thirty Iranian nationals, as confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Dar expressed satisfaction over the development, emphasizing Pakistan’s role in aiding these individuals’ return to Iran.

According to Radio Pakistan, the group includes eight Iranian fishermen who were rescued at sea by the British vessel MMA Valour after their boat encountered trouble. Additionally, twenty-two Iranian crew members from the vessel Lenore, Davina, which was recently stopped by US authorities, are also part of the repatriation effort.

Both groups are expected to pass through Karachi in the upcoming days, as per Dar’s remarks. Pakistan is actively coordinating with Iranian, US, and UK authorities to ensure the safe transit and swift return of these individuals to their homeland.
