Pakistan Forms Inquiry Committee on Bishkek Student Attacks

Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced today the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the recent mob attacks on students in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The committee is tasked with examining the circumstances that led to the incidents and evaluating the response of the Pakistani Mission in Bishkek.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a press conference with Foreign Secretary Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Dar stated that the committee would work closely with Kyrgyz authorities to gather facts and assess the situation. The findings are expected to be reviewed and a comprehensive report submitted within two weeks.
