Pakistan Highlights Human Rights Abuses by India in IIOJK

New york: At the UN, Pakistan has highlighted human rights abuses by India in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at the interactive Dialogue with High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, Acting Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN Usman Jadoon said the failure to hold India accountable for its human rights abuses in IIOJK is undermining the credibility of UN Human Rights machinery.

According to Radio Pakistan, Usman Jadoon emphasized the urgent need for international attention and accountability regarding the situation in IIOJK. He stressed that the ongoing violations in the region require immediate intervention to uphold the principles of human rights.
