Pakistan Implementing Projects to Combat Climate Change: Musadik

Baku: Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik says the federal and provincial governments in Pakistan are implementing various projects to combat climate-induced challenges. Addressing the 13th session of the World Urban Forum in Baku, he highlighted the devastation caused by floods in recent years in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Musadik Malik elaborated on how the recent floods have severely impacted numerous communities across the country, pushing many affected families back into poverty after destroying their homes. He underscored the importance of affordable housing, advocating for it to be recognized as a basic right for all citizens, in light of the ongoing climate challenges.
