Pakistan, Iran Discuss Regional Situation, Defense Cooperation

Rawalpindi: Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri met with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi today. The high-level meeting focused on the regional security environment and enhancing bilateral defense cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

According to Radio Pakistan, Major General Mohammad Bagheri paid tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs by laying a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada. His arrival was marked by a warm reception, including a guard of honor presented by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army. The discussions aimed to strengthen military ties and address mutual security concerns in the region.
