Pakistan, Iraq Agree to Advance Regional Peace, Stability

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein on telephone. They discussed the rapidly evolving regional situation and stressed the need for sustained efforts to contain tensions, promote de-escalation, and advance peace and stability in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, both sides agreed to stay in close contact.
