Pakistan, Iraq Voice Concern Over Ongoing Regional Escalation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar today held a telephonic conversation with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, on the prevailing regional situation. During the conversation, both leaders expressed deep concern over the ongoing regional escalation and its wider implications.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar underscored the need for collective efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent further instability. He emphasized that dialogue and adherence to international law remain essential for ensuring peace, security, and stability in the region and beyond.

The two leaders also took the opportunity to exchange Eid greetings, highlighting the cordial relations between Pakistan and Iraq amidst the challenging regional dynamics.
