Pakistan, Japan Reaffirm Commitment to Counter Terrorism

Islamabad: Pakistan and Japan have reiterated their resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. This commitment was expressed during the fourth round of Pakistan-Japan Counter-Terrorism Consultations held in Tokyo, Japan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the consultations featured a Pakistani delegation led by Additional Secretary Nabeel Munir and a Japanese delegation led by Minami Hiroyuki, Japan’s Ambassador in charge of International Cooperation for Countering Terrorism and International Organized Crime. The discussions focused on assessing the evolving terrorist threats at both national and regional levels.

Both sides explored areas for enhanced bilateral cooperation, including capacity-building initiatives and solutions based on emerging technologies, to effectively address the challenges posed by terrorism.
