Pakistan, Jordan Review Bilateral Relations at UN Security Council Meetings

New york: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the High-Level UN Security Council meetings in New York. Both leaders engaged in discussions to review and enhance the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Jordan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on the positive momentum generated by the recent Pakistan-Jordan Joint Ministerial Commission. The leaders agreed to further deepen and expand cooperation across key sectors, which is expected to bolster ties between the two nations.

In addition to bilateral matters, the leaders exchanged views on regional and international developments, with a particular emphasis on the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. Both reaffirmed their steadfast support for the just cause of the Palestinian people, highlighting the importance of international solidarity in addressing these pressing issues.
