Pakistan, Libya Vow to Strengthen Defence Relationship

Islamabad: Pakistan and Libya have reaffirmed their resolve to further diversify and strengthen the scope of their existing bilateral defence relationship. This commitment was highlighted during a meeting between Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, the evolving regional maritime security landscape, and explored ways to enhance cooperation in defence and training. Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar praised the Pakistan Navy for its crucial role in maintaining regional peace and maritime security.
