Pakistan-Malaysia Engagements to Yield Positive Results in Trade, Technology, and Labor Sectors

Islamabad: Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that recent discussions with Pakistan’s leadership and industry representatives have led to promising agreements across various sectors. These include enhancements in trade, agricultural technology, and the expansion of skilled labor cooperation, particularly in artificial intelligence and semiconductors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the engagements involved Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari. The talks focused on deepening bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration.

Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the importance of these discussions, noting that they reflect a strong mutual commitment to advancing economic and technological ties between Malaysia and Pakistan. This move is expected to facilitate significant advancements in key areas such as trade facilitation and the development of cutting-edge technology in agriculture and the semiconductor industry.
