Pakistan-Niger Parliamentary Group Holds Inaugural Meeting to Foster Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: The Pakistan-Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) convened its inaugural meeting today, marking the beginning of an initiative aimed at strengthening trade, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations. The session featured briefings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce, organized by the Directorate of Parliamentary Friendship Groups within the National Assembly of Pakistan.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meeting was attended by members of the National Assembly, including Zahra Wadood Fatemi, Dr. Nelson Azeem, Dr. Shazia Sobia, and Syed Hafeezuddin, who joined virtually. The session was chaired by Asia Naz Tanoli, the convener of the Pakistan-Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group. The group seeks to enhance bilateral cooperation and facilitate dialogue between the legislative bodies of Pakistan and Niger.
