Pakistan-Philippines Parliamentary Group Holds Inaugural Briefing Session

Islamabad: The Pakistan-Philippines Parliamentary Friendship Group held its first briefing session today, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two nations. The session featured discussions led by representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Commerce.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the meeting attracted participation from various members of the Pak-Philippines Parliamentary Friendship Group. The attendees, including several Members of the National Assembly such as Ms. Shahida Rehmani, Ms. Asia Naz Tanoli, and Ms. Nikhat Shakeel Khan, engaged with ministry representatives to discuss strategies for enhancing parliamentary oversight in matters of trade and bilateral relations. The session was chaired by Ms. Syeda Shehla Raza, the group’s convener, and included virtual contributions from Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan and Ms. Sofia Saeed Shah.
