Pakistan PM Reaffirms Support for Jammu and Kashmir

Bhimber: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has reiterated Pakistan’s political, moral, and diplomatic backing for the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), promising continued support until they achieve self-determination in line with United Nations resolutions.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Sharif spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s first Daanish School Center of Science and Technology in Bhimber. He highlighted the significance of the educational facility for the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that such advancements would hearten those in IIOJK who are striving for autonomy.

Sharif reassured the Kashmiri population that the sacrifices made in their pursuit of freedom would not be in vain, affirming the Pakistani nation’s steadfast commitment to their cause.

During the event, Anwar-ul-Haq, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, outlined the steps being taken by his government to bolster the Kashmir liberation movement. He noted that the political leadership from both Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, along with the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, remains united in their efforts.

“The Kashmiris will unite and confront India’s state terrorism,” Anwar-ul-Haq declared, pointing to India’s use of propaganda as a means to draw attention away from alleged human rights violations in the region.
