Pakistan Prioritizes Freedom, Prosperity of Palestinians: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the Palestinian people’s freedom, dignity, and prosperity remain a primary concern for Pakistan. In a post on his X handle, he emphasized that the establishment of a strong and viable Palestinian state with pre-1967 borders and Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s Middle East policy and will remain so.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that the most important priority for Pakistan was the immediate cessation of the genocidal campaign imposed on Gaza. He noted that this priority was consistently stated and reinforced along with other brotherly nations. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to President Donald Trump, acknowledging his promise and actions to halt the conflict. He stated that Pakistan would continue to express admiration for President Trump’s unique contribution to peace.
