Pakistan Railways and Sindh Government Agree to Restore Karachi Circular Railway

Karachi: The Federal and Sindh governments have reached an agreement to launch new train services connecting Karachi with Rohri and Jacobabad. The decision emerged from a meeting held in Karachi, attended by Railways Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also resulted in an agreement to restore the Karachi Circular Railway and suburban train services within the province. The Railways Minister articulated a commitment to modernize the railway system comprehensively. This modernization aims to enhance efficiency, security, and reliability through collaborative efforts between the federal and provincial governments.
