Pakistan Railways Being Modernized: Hanif

Karachi: Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi announced that Pakistan Railways is undergoing modernization with the aim to generate revenue, facilitate passengers and traders, and curb leakages. Addressing a ceremony in Karachi, the Minister detailed the initiatives undertaken to transform the railway service.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized the digitization of all railway stations and the provision of Wi-Fi facilities at forty stations across the country. These steps are part of broader efforts to improve the railway infrastructure and increase the number of freight trains in response to the growing demands of the business community.

Minister Abbasi also assured that resolving the problems faced by the business community will be a priority, highlighting the government’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency and service quality of Pakistan Railways.
