Pakistan Railways Opens Luxury Saloon Coaches for General Public

Islamabad: Pakistan Railways has announced that its five luxury saloon coaches will now be available for booking by general public.

According to Radio Pakistan, a Railways spokesperson stated that the initiative aims to extend premium travel facilities to ordinary citizens and optimize use of existing railway resources. Five luxury saloons, previously used by Prime Minister, federal ministers, Chairman of Pakistan Railways, Chief Executive Officer and Inspector General of Railways, will now be accessible to any passenger wishing to book them.

Pakistan Railways has also decided to keep fares for luxury saloons highly affordable to ensure broader public access. This decision reflects government’s commitment to improving public transport without compromising on affordability.
