Pakistan Railways Refutes Claims of Fuel Shortage, Ensures Smooth Operations

Islamabad: Pakistan Railways has officially dismissed rumors of a fuel shortage impacting its train operations, affirming a steady supply agreement with Pakistan State Oil to ensure uninterrupted services.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, a spokesperson from Pakistan Railways emphasized that the provision of fuel is securely managed by Pakistan State Oil, which is tasked with maintaining a consistent supply. The spokesperson assured that fuel depots in Lahore and Karachi, which together meet about sixty-two percent of the railway’s requirements, currently hold a one-month reserve of fuel.
