Pakistan Ready to Work with Board of Peace on Gaza Plan: PM

Pakistan: Pakistan and the United States have agreed to enhance bilateral trade and economic activities and mutual cooperation in countering terrorism. This development was announced following a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, held on the sidelines of the Board of Peace Leaders’ meeting in Washington. The Prime Minister was joined by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to Radio Pakistan, both sides emphasized the significance of the strategic relations between Pakistan and the United States, expressing satisfaction with the positive direction and momentum of the partnership under President Trump’s leadership. Prime Minister Sharif extended his congratulations to President Donald Trump and Secretary Rubio on the successful inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to collaborate with the Board of Peace in implementing the Gaza Peace Plan.

The Prime Minister highlighted the necessity of sustained high-level engagement between Pakistan and the US to further common objectives in an increasingly dynamic global environment.
