Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Multilateralism at UN Headquarters

Islamabad: Pakistan has reiterated its enduring commitment to multilateralism, as expressed by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad. This declaration was made during an event hosted by the Pakistan UN Club in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day at the UN Headquarters in New York.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing regional and international peace and stability. He highlighted the country’s efforts in facilitating dialogue during the recent US-Iran crisis. Furthermore, he noted Pakistan’s active contribution to the work of the UN Security Council, particularly in promoting initiatives aimed at the peaceful settlement of disputes.
