Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Palestinian Statehood at International Conference

Riyadh: Pakistan has reiterated its steadfast stance on the Palestinian issue, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar attending the High-Level International Conference on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. The conference, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France, witnessed the participation of numerous international leaders committed to resolving the longstanding conflict.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister welcomed recent announcements by several countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Portugal, recognizing the State of Palestine. He urged other nations that have yet to acknowledge Palestinian statehood to align their actions with international law and take similar steps.

Pakistan’s involvement in the conference underscored its active support and endorsement of its long-held principled position on the Palestinian question, advocating for a peaceful resolution through the two-state solution.
