Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment to Protect Child’s Rights at Global Conference.

Colombia: Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting children’s rights and eradicating violence against children. This was stated by Chairperson of the National Commission on the Rights of Child, Ayesha Raza Farooq, during her address at the first-ever Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Colombia.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ayesha Raza Farooq emphasized that Pakistan is determined to ensure the safety of every child from all forms of violence by strengthening and expanding integrated child protection services. She highlighted the country’s efforts in reinforcing and enforcing child protection laws. Additionally, she stated that the government will focus on building a child-sensitive and gender-responsive workforce capable of providing timely support to children in need.
