Islamabad: On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has reiterated the country’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and their right to self-determination. This announcement comes amid ongoing conflict marked by significant casualties in Gaza and the West Bank.
According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister condemned Israel’s actions in the region, describing them as a severe human tragedy and a violation of international law. The statement highlighted the loss of over 43,000 lives due to what it termed as indiscriminate violence and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities. The Prime Minister urged the international community to take decisive action to halt the violence and facilitate humanitarian aid. The press release emphasized the need for support to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, as well as adherence to UN resolutions for the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state.
