Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Peaceful Resolution of Ukraine Conflict

New york: At the United Nations, Pakistan has reaffirmed its support for all efforts aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict in a peaceful, comprehensive, and durable manner. This statement was made by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during the UN Security Council briefing on the Maintenance of Peace and Security of Ukraine.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador expressed hope that all parties involved would make full use of ongoing diplomatic efforts, demonstrate genuine political will, and engage constructively to achieve a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the conflict. He emphasized that an immediate ceasefire would be a crucial first step in this process.
