Pakistan Received $3.2b in Remittances During September

Islamabad: Pakistan received 3.2 billion dollars in remittances during the month of September this year.

According to Radio Pakistan, inflows hit 9.5 billion dollars in the first quarter of the current fiscal year as compared to 8.8 billion dollars during the corresponding period last year.

The Finance Ministry in its statement said that remittances are a lifeline for households and a cushion for our external account.
