Pakistan Recommends Dialogue to Resolve Challenges Facing Korean Peninsula

Pakistan: Pakistan has recommended the path of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve challenges facing the Korean Peninsula.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking during the Security Council briefing on Non-proliferation/Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, cautioned against the use of coercive or provocative actions, as well as threats and heated rhetoric.

He emphasized that it is incumbent on all parties involved to refrain from actions that could escalate the situation. Furthermore, he urged all stakeholders to exercise restraint and respond positively to constructive proposals aimed at de-escalating tensions and promoting peace in the region.
