Pakistan Recorded $1.2 Billion Current Account Surplus Last Month

Islamabad: Pakistan recorded a current account surplus of 1.2 billion dollars in March this year. This marks the country’s highest monthly current account surplus to date.

According to Radio Pakistan, the surplus of 1.8 billion dollars in the first nine months of the current fiscal year is a welcome development. In addition, remittances reached a record level of four billion dollars in March, while exports witnessed an increase of 8.7 percent.
