Pakistan Records Increase of 4.1% in FDI

Islamabad: Pakistan recorded an overall increase of four point seven percent in foreign direct investment in the last fiscal year due to the efforts of Special Investment Facilitation Council. Among the leading foreign investors were China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Trkiye. China topped the list of foreign investors with a 90.3 percent increase, crossing a new milestone by investing 1,224.3 million dollars in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hong Kong invested a substantial amount of 496.9 million dollars in the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
